Short introduction:

Alicia was born in Margate, Kent and moved to London in her teenage years immersing herself in the vibrant punk movement that empowered artists poets and musicians to record on small labels, create fanzines and express themselves through unique personal clothing designs. Alicia's activism led her to become a key figure in the East London Squatters Association, dedicated to housing those in need. Later taught textiles in Hackney's nonprofit organisation before embarking on a an eight year journey through South East Asia, Malaysia, Africa and the Middle East. During this time, Alicia fostered creative practices that bridged cultural divides and altered perspectives. Upon returning to the UK, Alicia embraced creativity with her daughter, navigating the challenges of the modern-day housing crisis, and eventually settling in central London, where creativity remains at the heart of Alicia and her daughter's life.
