This particular women's refuge started as a squat for women and children looking for sanctuary. Alicia is director , subject and author of Life after Refuge and this strong piece is the start of a road trip for a mother and daughter who began at the Rising Sun and continued until the sun set in Central London years later. The film has an archive of rich material that give viewers a new perspective of women and their children in pursuit of 'home' .
